Canadian band Slow has just announced two back-to-back shows at Vancouver, BC’s Fox Cabaret on December 1st and 2nd. Both shows have sold out of advanced tickets, but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Formed in the mid-1980s in Vancouver, the band has consistently been called one of the most influential punk rock bands in Canada and pioneers of the Seattle grunge scene that emerged in the late 1980s. Slow was formed by Thomas Anselmi, Christian Thorvaldson, Stephen Hamm, and Terry Russell with Ziggy Sigmund being added to the mix soon after as a second guitarist. Against The Glass was released in 1986 which featured the iconic track “Have Not Been The Same.” The name of the song was even borrowed as the name for the CanRock Encyclopedia, published by ECW Press.

Despite the years that have gone by, Slow’s brand of rock and punk has not aged a bit. Anselmi continuous to have a monstrous voice, while the guitars and drums are full of energy.
