One of the most legendary bands of all time Queen’s guitarist, Brian May, shared a photo of himself outside for the first time in a long while on his official Instagram account. Yet he was using crutches.
As you would remember, Brian May of Queen has been hospitalized after wrestling with the physical pain after tearing buttocks. It seems that he feels more comfortable after leaving the hospital even with using crutches.
On May 7, 2020, Brian May posted another Instagram photo of himself in the hospital and said:
“I managed to rip my Gluteus Maximus to shreds in a moment of over-enthusiastic gardening. So suddenly I find myself in a hospital getting scanned to find out exactly how much I’ve actually damaged myself.”
He received bad news:
“Turns out I did a thorough job – this is a couple of days ago – and I won’t be able to walk for a while … or sleep, without a lot of assistance, because the pain is relentless.”
In the photo he recently shared, Brian May is seen outside, sitting on a bank while holding crutches. He was so happy to go outside after a long time:
“My first walk in the park since this all began. My … the air feels good! The sky is blue – the sun is clear and bright and warm and the breeze is cool. White fluffy cloud scud over my head.”
Even though he was happy to be outside, he was a bit bummed about the crutches:
“But I’m dependent on these ‘crutch’ devices to get around. There’s always ONE snag!! Well, not for long, hopefully.”
Yet, he knew he was going to get through this:
“I’ve been through these scrapes plenty of times before. They make you stronger, right?! If they don’t kill ya !! Well, I’m not planning to check out just yet!!!”
His fans were concerned about him but also happy to see him outside nonetheless.
