Following Government updates, we’ve made various tweaks and changes to be sure the next issues of Zero Tolerance Magazine hit the streets with as little disruption as possible. This means that we’ve bumped schedules along a little to account for all the different stages of production and distribution that have been affected over the past couple of months by lockdown. Dates may slip and slide about a little still depending on events over the remainder of the year, but we’re heading to print to get the next issue – #096 – out in mid-June to coincide with the likely reopening of the high street; we’re already at the design stage for much of it.
We’ve been quite lucky overall as although issue 095 came off press as lockdown was announced, independent newsagents remained open across the country, and not all WHSmith stores were affected – and importantly, all subscriber copies went out without incident. To help those in isolation, or those with no stockist nearby, we cancelled the shipping cost on copies bought directly from store.ztmag.com, burning the candles at both ends to get orders out the door and into the post as quickly as possible – we also (finally) launched a digital edition (with the covermount CD embedded on the tracklisting pages giving readers the full experience) – managing to add an entirely new distribution avenue; ZT can be bought as a single copy or a six-issue subscription digitally.
We’ve a very small core team here at ZT, but now we’re almost over the hump of work for issue 096, we’ll be adding some regular content to our website for you to run your eyeballs over (and your ears as there’s plenty of music streams to listen to) as you while away the time waiting for the next issue. You can also check for publishing updates – all changes / extra details will be added at www.ztmag.com, and across our social media.
In the meantime, issue 095 is still onsale in some newsagents and in our webstore if you don’t currently subscribe and haven’t picked up a copy.
